MARTA TO UNVEIL SPECIAL BUSES TO CELEBRATE ATLANTA PRIDE
ATLANTA - The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) will unveil four Pride-themed buses during a MARTA Pride customer appreciation celebration at North Avenue Station on Thursday, Oct.10, beginning at 4 p.m.
The event will feature designs by four LGBTQ+ Atlanta artists: Arrrtaddict (Lisette Correa), LaSalle (Brandon Moultrie), Krista M. Jones, and Aliya Smith, each presenting their unique interpretations of Pride through vibrant, powerful artwork. Attendees will have the chance to meet the artists and vote for their favorite design, which will be featured in the Atlanta Pride Parade on Sunday, Oct.13.
The buses, which celebrate the diversity and pride of Atlanta’s LGBTQ+ community, will be in service throughout October to extend the spirit of Pride Month.

The Pride-themed bus designs were selected with the help of MARTA's Pride Employee Resource Group, ensuring community involvement in the decision-making process.
